Perhaps we should start listing the full vin of the engine or transmission of each item that is listed. The vin as if it was a convertible or hardtop for engines and transmissions. That way, if someone google's their vin, they can also see if there is a drive line component listed. Not everyone knows to search for a partial.

It would make the search better, but I question if people would enter both.
I can change the instructions when I get a chance - which isn't often lately.....

The problem with that is when you're looking at a block or transmission, the vin is not that specific. It may start as 19N or 18L etc. You can't put a finish vin on those as in most cases you wouldn't know what it came out of. DZ & some of the others are obvious...Joe

The vin is very simple to determine if you have a Muncie or any V8 engine to list a vin for. The vin can only be a hardtop or convertible with a V8 vin. The partial gives you everything you need: The year and the plant the car was built at. You can finish the rest of the vin with just that information.

I added this to the instructions. Thanks!
