Title: Which is the correct assembly line gas pedal for 1967?
Post by: Jon Mello on July 27, 2013, 09:22:30 PM
I've got three different gas pedals sitting in one of my parts cabinets and am not sure which one is correct for '67.
The left and middle one are all plastic and the one on the right is metal with what seems to be a hard rubber over it.

3909978 is correct for a 67 Camaro.

Thanks, Ed. I know that part number is right but am wondering if it looks the same as the ones used in production on '67 Camaros.
Sometimes what you get over the parts counter is different than the original part, as we all know.

Jon, the one I took off my '67 when I restored it was exactly like the 3909978 with the metal on the back, and a pin like that.  I was not even aware that they made the all plastic type.  I replaced mine with one that looked exactly like what I took off.
