Did the console gauge packages all include the low fuel warning light or was that an option?
This is an original car with the option from the factory as far as I know
Thanks for the help

Were is this low fuel warning light?
I have U17 OPTION and don't recall ever seeing this light.

It's one of the little red lights under the speedo (I think it's under the speedo) been a long time since I've seen mine light up.
M&H Electric makes an adjustable solenoid for it so you can make it light up where ever you desire (factory didn't light up until on fumes, lol) However tough getting one, I had just called last week and they are out of stock with no timeline for new ones, could be months he said.

By your user name I'm assuming you have a 1969.

The low fuel light is indeed under the speedometer, but the "module" that activates the light is under the console cover, in front of - and possibly between - the actual fuel gage and oil pressure gage. It's a small round black cylinder with three wires coming out (IIRC). It sends 'ground' to the light (in the dash) on 1969 models, and sends 12VDC to the light on '67-8 models (again, IIRC!) It appears to have a small socket similar to a mini-Maglite bulb socket, but supposedly nothing goes in the socket on '69's but some device DOES go in for the previous years mentioned. This is all "as the story goes", because I have not yet seen mine work (it had a "bulb" in the socket, which we removed...) Heartbeat City has a decent picture of the module, I think they were asking in the neighborhood of $60 for them.
And this great pic of the speedometer reminds me of my younger/dumber days...I had it up to "PH", once...

Yes I have a 1969.
Thanks for the information, I will look when I get out of storage.

Just a couple of pics of the module mounted/wired in place on my original gauges.
According to what I know, there should not be a bulb mounted in the module, although it's equipped for one. Other applications, I believe -
