Looks like there's a new player in the FAKE TRIM TAG/FAKE VIN TAG (http://www.ebay.com/itm/70-Chevelle-Pontiac-Camaro-Cowl-Data-Trim-Tag-/230981660532?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35c7946f74&vxp=mtr) game. (Thanks to Warren Leunig for pointing them out)

Check out the feedback and you'll see the blank VIN tags. Also note the name "Bill" in THIS AUCTION (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-56-57-Chevrolet-Bel-Air-Cowl-Data-Trim-Tag-/230980348126?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35c78068de#ht_262wt_1400). I wonder if it's our old friend Bill Clements. Last I heard he had moved to Canada, so it's very possible.
In this example, there are two:
1967 Trim Tag
01E E
ST 67 12437 NOR180567 BODY
TR 760-Z K-K PAINT
2HLG 3L
1969 Trim Tag
ST 69 12437 NOR193681 BDY
TR 719 52 52 PNT
12B X33 D80
Thank goodness they're HORRIBLE and a 5 year old could tell the difference!!

I've captured a few from this person, but expect there will be many more.
"To order your Classic Tag you will need:
- A scan / or digital photo of original tag
or
- Year Model & Series - Hardtop, Coupe, 2dr, 4dr, wagon, conv, etc
- Body numbers - production numbers from where body was built (may require VIN numbers)
- Trim numbers - interior fabric type & colors
- Paint numbers - body colors"
They're not limited to Camaro's either.

If it is the same guy, he's dropped his base price significantly.
