Title: Has anyone found one of these tags?
Post by: PaceCarNut on August 22, 2006, 01:56:28 AM
I was removing the interior from a 69 camaro today that has houndstooth interior. I found a small(aprox) 1-1/2" x3" Maniilla tag with numbers and letters attached the the passenger side seat springs and I was wondering if anyone has seen one of these tags before??? I will get pic of tag tommorow and post.

Found a similar tag (actually two of them) iattached to the back seat springs on my '66 Chevelle a few years ago.  They have hand writing on them as opposed to the ones in the pic below.

To date - nothing simiilar in my '69 Camaro.  The only seat I've had out is the bottom of the back bench seat - in a search for any loose documentation - none found.

No, that's a new one to me.
Anything on the back side of the tag?

Could you email the VIN of this car (we use the VIN in file name, so we have traceability)? Thanks!
