Hello all,
I am almost ready to paint the floors on my 68 SSRS and I repaired the butchered trans tunnel. I want to cut the correct hole for a factory style shifter and would like to know the correct location if possible. Does anyone have a picture with measurements or a car apart they can get me some exact measurements from? I found a pic for a 69 but isn't the 67 & 68 are different??
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Nick,
I hope you saved the reinforcement ring that goes on the tunnel, shown in post #13.

Thanks, I wish but it is long gone

If you don't want to make your own ring, they sell it repro.

Thanks, I will look for them. :)
