Title: 19N651115 V0519DZ Block
Post by: Larry Gibson on March 30, 2013, 09:54:45 PM: I have a spare DZ 302 Engine that is stamped V0519DZ, VIN # 651115, Cast Date is D 30 9, Casting 3970010. I am relatively sure this car was salvaged in Ohio sometime in the 80-90's timeframe but if you happen to have the Z that it belongs please contact me. This is a spare engine that I bought about 15-20 years ago because I wasn't sure my car had it's original engine. Fortunately I have recently found the VIN # on my block after pulling it from the car for some detailing and to fix a rear main seal leak. The above block was cast one day before my block but the VIN#'s are 2919 #'s apart.

Post by: bertfam on March 30, 2013, 11:05:07 PM: Larry, the car's not in the db. If the car was salvaged, would it have a "salvage" title? I don't know about Ohio, but here in California a salvage vehicle has "Salvage" on the title.

I sold the engine last year at the Charlotte Auto Fair to a man from South Carolina. Sorry.
