Has anyone seen an accurate reproduction 67 radiator tag with the stepped edges instead of the straight edge commonly seen for sale?
I don't mind paying good money as long as the reproduction is accurate but so far I haven't seen a correct copy.
Thanks,
Mike

I need a UN (3013684) and if you have a UO (3013685) that would great.

Sorry Mike the only big block ones I have go to my cars.

Thanks for looking.
I am talking to a vendor who is making exact copy tags for Pontiac and he will be looking at the cost to get a 'U' font. Otherwise the tag body edges are exact for 67.

Can this guy look into making a correct one for the 68Z. The HBC and other vendor ones are incorrect. I've gone round and round with HBC over it and they won't hear it.

I'll keep you posted on this progress with the vendor. I spoke to him yesterday and he will have more info for me Monday.
He is tooled for Pontiac and Chevelle and has the correct flat top number 3 for Camaro and the letter U. He will let me know Monday about other fonts.
Are 67 and 68 tag edge shapes the same with the notched sides? I see 69 is straight but the 67 repros with the straight side are wrong. If someone can send a 68 tag picture I can forward it to him (CRG only shows a 67 and 69 tag)
He sells the Pontiac and Chevelle tags for around $75. It's about $25 higher than the wrong repros but I figured the price is the same as a night out drinking with the buddies so I don't mind paying the extra if the tag is correct.

Count me in for a 68 Z28 Tag.

Here is the incorrect 68 Z tag.

What is incorrect about that tag? Fonts, straight edge, ....?
I'm still waiting for the vendor to get back to me after he figures out how much he needs to spend to get the missing letter for the Camaro tags. He assured me though that his reproduction will be exact. I'm hoping he makes a demo tag to show first.
Stay tuned....

There is no IM tank code for Camaro. It should be IH. I've told HBC I don't know how many times and they tell me theirs is correct so I give up. It will be interesting when all these people who have bought incorrect tags find out when they sell it or go to judging.

Take a look at their "correct" 67 UK tag - it's in 68-69 format, not 67

Here is the incorrect 68 Z tag.
Wanna see my original....took me awhile to find it, but here it is......It also appears that the fonts are different.

Thanks, Gerry.
I forwarded that picture to the vendor. If he asks for a measurement I'll reach out to you.

Spacing too. Funny, Jim at HBC said it was an exact copy of an original he got off a 68 Z of his. That's one funny "original" Z28 tag he had. Maybe the vendors in China didn't have an H font.

Mike S,
If you get a lead on an UO tag I am interested.

The vendor called me and said he can't do the straight edge tags like 68 and 69 due to setup costs. The stepped edge ones for 67 are what he wants to concentrate on being he is producing them already. He asked me to pass along which tags would be most commonly requested so I suspect he will focus on the popular ones to recover the cost of tooling quickly.
I'm in for 2 67 BB tags (UN & UO) and I know Bob is interested in a UO. Anyone else interested? This is just a query for interest and no commitment.

I'd be in for a 68 Z/28 tag

Me too nut he said he doesn't want to do those.
