Hi ,How can you tell on a VN car if it is a Z/28 by the trim tag?

The Trim Tag will have an X33 or X77 on Norwood built Camaros however there are exceptions. Pre X code vehicles and anything built at the VanNuys/LA plant did not use an X-Code. These cars are often confirmed by using engine, transmission and rear end stampings (mostly engine stamping). The Vin will let you know if the car was a V8, V6 and coupe or convertible.

No you can't tell what kind of car it was from an LA Trim tag (except the 67's), only interior and exterior colors.
