Post by: 67conv6cyl on February 15, 2013, 11:44:42 PM
On my april built Norwood car these marks are not where I see them on other cars, I know they are original, I have pictures if anybody could post them.

Thanks for posting, Is it normal to have these marks here under blower and on driver side tulip panel? most of the cars I have seen have these marks on upper cowl section.

Very common to find them there on 67 cars.

I found the P T B on the drivers side, and in fact, down under the Trim Tab is a second 'T'..  but have been unable to find any stamps on the passenger side.  My understanding was that each side was done independently and marked independently...?

My 67 had them behind the fenders also. It was like Christmas morning when I pulled off the fenders for the first time!

X77-

Was it paint or a heavy ink that managed to survived time.

I can't tell if it is paint or ink,    so when you them all together is that or is that not authentic ?

Mike, it was paint, near as I can tell. It was pretty well protected behind the fenders
