Title: Gary Goeringer's 68 Mustang/Bill Maier
Post by: PURESS on February 07, 2013, 11:07:35 PM
Car Craft has featured this month April 2013 Gary Goeringer's 68 Mustang...This car looks great...Bill Maier special ordered the car from nearby Hayward Ford...with the specfic intent to go racing, and eventually competed in A/sedan, Trans-Am, and IMSA GT....this car then was morph from Acapulco blue sedan racer to a radically flared and brightly hued IMSA ride....the car was restored by Chris Leibenberg Racing Restorations....I wish i could type out this whole article..but I am a one finger typer...nice picture..a nice little article...the motor was built for vintage racing-legal 302   I thought  would let you know this was in the Car Craft

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to keep an eye out for that on the newsstand.

Gary (http://www.historictransam.com/Drivers/GaryGoeringer68Mustang22.html) is a great guy and a friend of mine... and he's even owned a few Chevys.   ;D
