Rivets look a little ovaled out of round and messed up some. Which doesn't mean the tag would be bad, but just maybe it was off the car at one time. Or it doesn't belong on THIS car. The tag itself looks pretty good IMO... Danny

I think what you are seeing is the filler inside the rivets making it look that way.  To me it seems like the rivets are legit.

IMO, it looks real because if you look at the lower edge of the tag, the surface image matches the firewall image.
Follow a contour line, let's say under the word 'TIME', the image between the tag and firewall match.

Do you have the VIN on the car? i can check to see if that lines up with the tag...

Good color combo... IMHO the tag is real
