Title: wheel opening moldings
Post by: clean68rs on January 04, 2013, 01:16:30 PM
I have a 68rs and my question is, should the front wheel well molding be full length and the rear wheel well molding end at the side quarter panel molding? In the catalogue that is the way it is suggested. I just would like to know if this is the way thay came stock. Thank you Scott.

No.

As verified by many road test photos in vintage car magazines both '68 RS wheel opening moldings ended at the side body molding. The '68 RS is also the only 1st gen that did not use the rocker panel spears.
