Does this pad stamp look correct and original? . ..... Danny

1969 Camaro Z/28 DZ302 engine block. Bare block .030. Cast 3970010. Pad stamp V1024DZ. J149 castdate. Great date code for most '69 Z28s. Includes main caps. Block is in great shape and does not need any machining. $2500

The pad stamp does not look suspect, I bet there is a VIN on the block. The late date of October 24 of 1969 leaves only about 2 weeks of production left...

I thought the 1 on the stamps were supposed to look like I's ? Thats the way my DZ stamp is.

Not all but some were mixed in. I've saw the 1 and I mixed in together on a single stamp. ie. V10I0DZ
