Y4C29D...partial vin 14K128338

Y4C29D is the transmission manufacturing plant and date code.

Y - Toledo, Ohio
4 - 1974
C29 - March 29th
D - Day shift

VIN is 14K128338 is:

1 - Chevrolet Motor Division
4 - 1974
K - Kansas City, MO
128338 - Sequential VIN number.

Unless you made a mistake in the plant and date code, it's a Turbo 350 out of a 1974 Nova.

Pretty common upgrade and why sales of the powerglide plummeted in 69 when the TH350 came out.
