Body number is way out of order for a deluxe interiored convertible.  Probably was originally a standard interior car, who knows what it really was color, drivetrain or options beyond that.

Tag was missing, so he replaced it.
Drivetrain is supposed to be original.

Replaced it with what changes?  It didn't have a deluxe interior with that body number.  He didn't guess that number it fits perfectly with the VIN.

Must be your session i checked Ebay a moment ago and all the images were there, but for the future

Should also state the car is presently presented as an RS/SS yet is missing the 3L code required for the RS part.  I'm thinking that the tag does not truely represent the original options that came on the car.

The pictures may have been blocked by my company firewall.
The ad states it was restored but the RS package was an addition.
At least the seller was up front about that.

Thanks,
Mike

Same guy lists a Cortez silver z-28 with a repro tag, and a six cylinder vin!

There was no tag, so I'd say that all info on it was a guess.
He said it had blue on the header and fender when they stripped it and a bright blue interior.

Unless he has a database, or access to one, theres no way he guessed that body number, or the w/o number, they are exactly inline with that VIN if the car had a standard interior.  We all know there was no Camaro produced at the factory with a blue nose stripe except for a PC replica, and none of them came with standard interiors.  Could have been some dealer made replica with a repainted nose stripe and a standard interior, but if it had a BB from the factory that would make it a pretty expensive clone.  Guess we'll never know what it was originally.

I'm puzzled...... if it was a real SS why it had the RS gas cap and horn button.
Plus the rear blackout bottom edge is below the bumper brackets and the door strikers have paint on them.
Nice car otherwise.

Mark, you're right. I didn't look at the data close enough. I assumed it was just guesses, but it clearly was a standard interior car with that LOS #.
