Post by: BillOhio on December 16, 2012, 03:57:54 AM
I don't think i have seen this in person. Is it a cross between tan and gold? Metallic? Found a base car that was champagne and now another color.  I like to see the original color on a car just not sure about thus one

Here's a thread with a picture. If you do an advanced search for "Champagne Color"  there are several pictures scattered on different threads here.

Thanks. I saw those 2 cars and a copo clone (I think) and they all look different. The two suggested, one is alot creamier than the other. Not sure to think its gold with a hint of charcoal or what! Not sire its my favorite but it seems to be unusual

Lighting changes everthing with that color.
Think of it as sand, aka light gold.

Just found this on ebay. I was looking at the car and noticed it was a 63 code color. Check out the old Vintage picture's of it. BAD ASS!

I would like to have an l78. I called about a black rs/ss a year ago and it was sold. If you have seen the win the camaros dream give away, the 69 i think is the car i called on. It was near Cincinnati and had like 17 options. Sold by the time i called!

There are a number of collectors looking for champagne solid lifter cars(Z,L78,L72), they are rare rare rare, and the color is timeless as well. It would be number one on my list especially with the Hockey stick that thing looks GOOD!
