This statement was took out of a thread that I found. I would have posted the thread but it wasn't truly about water pumps.

Bill Mock in Oklahoma City is the best-known water pump rebuilder/restorer for the Corvette guys, and will usually have dated small-hole 326 pumps available, but they aren't cheap. Bill has been doing Chevy pumps for 35 years, and is at (918) 333-0748, mockauto@aol.com.

I can tell you I used Arthur Gould Rebuilders here; http://arthurgouldrebuilders.com/general/water-pump-restoration/
They did a great job on my unit.

I used Chevy Cool's Ron Burke cell (480)-720-8000 8711 E Pinnacle Pinnacle Peak Road PMB 377, Scottsdale, AZ 85255  www.chevycool.com
One of the reasons, he comes to Carlilsle! Everyone of the others mentioned have excellent reputations so you cannot go wrong. Do a search as you can find a lot of info concerning this subject.

If you have a good press and have any experience using it, rebuild it yourself.
If the housing is in good shape and you can find the right kit it's not that difficult.
The most important thing is to get all your "baseline" measurements pulley hub and
impeller so alignment is correct.

If your going to do it yourself, be careful on the press, you can easily crack the pump housing. I practiced on a few old worthless pumps and was surprised how quick you could screw up and crack the housing. If it's a rare hard to find or original pump, might want to send it to the pro's.

Paul is definitely right there. Never support pump or press without supporting close to bearing or center.
Never support pump where the pressure is on pump outlets.

I purchased a rebuild kit from Zip's (corvette repro site), and rebuilt mine. As mentioned, be sure of your dimensions before starting the rebuild, instructions come with the kit, as well as the special arbor for use in the press. Good luck if you go this route.
