Title: subframe gloss and eastwood satin
Post by: BillOhio on October 08, 2012, 02:48:46 AM
Eastwood  calls their satin 2k chassis paint 60-70% gloss. The gloss a 80. Jerrys book said 30% for subframe, floors and core support. Anyone used Eastwood satin and is it too much? I can get ppg also. Thanks  for the input

SEM Trim Black is the correct sheen, durable, sprays and lays down very well, dries fast but it's 1K. PPG has a bus color deck with various black gloss percentages. You can have it mixed in the paint of your choice if you want 2K. As standard practice, a test card will have to be shot for sheen verification. I generally add my own flattening agent to hit my target.
