Post by: 67ragmaro on July 26, 2006, 07:08:28 AM
Hi All, Redoing my 67 dash and making an upgrade to speed warning speedo. The shop book shows very little on this, and I need help !!! Where does the wire go to power this? The shop book show a stud of some sort on the top side of the housing ????? The wire dia. shows this going to the lighter ???? Any help would be welcome. Also looking for a sorce for the buzzer and bracket. Thanks, Bruce

According to the factory assembly manual (UPC U15), your wire should plug into the fuse panel labeled BAT. FUSED.  The bracket is available through D&R Classic Automotive.  Haven't found a source yet for the buzzer.

The original speedwarning buzzer was discontinued decades ago, but you can get a functional replacement from Long Island Corvette Supply (www.licorvette.com) for about $20 - their #39-29D.
