Title: Z/28 on ebay
Post by: dannystarr on October 02, 2012, 11:51:07 PM
This is a very nice car. But the cowl looks wrong to me. Kinda crooked on the numbers. And the VIN stamp on the block is the deepest I have ever seen. Never seen one SO easy to read. What say you?..... Danny

I don't think the cowl looks strange at all...?

Very similar to my own:

...but maybee it's fake to....?

I think maybee everbody is a little to afraid of this with fake cowl or trim tags?!

I'm not one to judge correct or incorrect numbers, but they do look as though they were stamped on the block after it was painted. -Which means that must be 40+ year old paint..
Do ya reckon?

The first tag looks fake, but I'm not as good as most on this site. Maybe Kurt will give his opinion.

Both trim tags are good.
He posted a pic of the pad previously. It's a restamp.
