Does any know the monetary value of this engine? 292 heads30/manley pistons/ race cam/bolt heads back on and put in car. heads removed for inspection.Have retired and are selling toys.

Thenumbers on rear of engine are3892657 to the left and above the numbers is 14GM it has manley p5552 30 over pistons. the blockwas decked for more performance so the numbers up front are missing. At the time this engine was built for performance it was top of the line.292 heads were equivlant to brodiax heads today.etc.

Whatever a small block would go for then in this condition. Without the numbers for the Z to prove it, it's not worth any more than any other engine.

You got yourself a little hp and lost a bunch of value in return.

A decked block is worth about as much as any other decked block...not much...sorry!
