Post by: wisemanz28 on October 27, 2011, 07:02:41 PM
Does anyone know of someone that straightens bent 15x7 steel rims? I have two that I need to repair.

Check your local yellow pages for a 'Wheel Fixit' or a 'Straight Wheels' franchise..   they predominantely repair alloy wheels, but they *may* repair your steel wheels as well.... ?

Google wheel repairs and you 'll find a lot of companies. I had contacted a company in Mass but I never got around to that point yet. You should be able to find someone reasonable near you. good luck JOE

I had a bent outer lip on a YH wheel and took it to "Discount Tire" and they fixed it for "FREE"!!!!  Might want to
consider them.  Don

I'm restoring some YH rims for my car, does anyone have any suggestions on how to straighten bent rims. They are not too bad (1/8 out) but I want them a little closer than that.

Google "Wheel Doctor". They are here local and I think they are a national chain.

I'm running into shops that only deal with alloy or aluminum rims, no one does steel rims. This is frustrating, maybe I should start my own business.

I did a search "steel wheel repair" on Google. There are several places with that service.

Bingo!  That's why I referenced wisemanz28's original thread; that was one of the recommendations!   :)
