Title: trying to identify car block to find owner.

I have a block I was told may be out of a 69 350 SS 4 speed car but I am not very knowledgable on the numbers but am trying. If it is I sure would like to get this to the rightful owner.

Here are the numbers I have block cast L-17-8 pad is VO113HA it has the vin stamped on it also but I do not have it written down and it is in my storage unit. If it is something out of a car that may have some value to someone I would be happy to get the vin number.

L-17-8 = Dec. 17, 1968 casting date
V0113HA = Jan. 13, 1969 assembly date, 350/300 3- or 4-speed

Look on the main CRG site to get the proper range of VINs for Jan. '69.

You can post some pictures of the stamp(s) and cast numbers here for confirmation.  Be sure to post the engine to the orphans section in case someone here is looking for it.
