Can someone tell me the RPO's for the Front Coil Springs & Rear Multi-Leaf Springs in the pics?
Can you also tell me where the part#'s are stamped?
Thanks!

Rear Springs...

Rear springs shown are not OE.
Originals were tagged in the form of a band wrapped around the spring just back of the front eye.
Front coils had a tag with code & part number. Everyone puts the tags at the bottom but on my last Z/28 they were at the top, not visible.

William,
Do you mean like these? If not do you have (or someone) a pic of the correct springs w/ the band you are referring to.
Thanks

The band is a paper tag wrapped around the spring. It is by the arrow.

Aside from the paper tag...is there any other physical evidence these are not OE?
Thanks William

The original clamps don't wrap around , they are riveted .The plastic liners don't stick through the spring they go in a stamped recess and you only see the edge . The ends of original springs are stamped thinner .(http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/markx22/SSRS/th_4354860-R1-006-1A.jpg) (http://s45.photobucket.com/albums/f58/markx22/SSRS/?action=view¤t=4354860-R1-006-1A.jpg)

Thanks for the pics...how tough is it to find originals? I'm assuming not that difficult since several were made.
In addition...by looking at mine can you tell what they belong to?

Marty, the rear leafs are just a generic repro. A 'close to' original is currenty reproed for $410 http://www.rickscamaros.com/camaro-multi-leaf-spring-assembly-set-five-leaf-1968-1969.html while the generic set is $167

What would be acceptable for a "Legends" Judging format?
