In the 1969 assm manual for C-60 with a 396 there is a baffle shown that looks like it goes from the core support to the subframe. Does anybody know if this baffle actually existed? Thanks, Joe

Only seen one, not sure if its original to the car or not. Beleive it belongs to a guy who posts on Camaros.net as markx22, and he rebuilt this one.

I bought my 69 Z10 396 in 1976 & the baffle was on my car! It was in bad shape so I thru it out! >:( Thought I could buy one at the chevy dealer I was wrong!! :(

I'm guessing it's probably nothing anyone is going to jump on the band wagon & reproduce?....Joe

Wow, that's one of the few confirmations I've heard that it was even on a car! I've only heard about 3 or 4 of these over the years......

It looked pretty much like the pic Mark shows!

Are there any plans for this item to be reproduced in the future from any of the manufacturer?...Joe

I would think not; the fact that almost nobody has ever seen one says the potential volume isn't there to pay for the tooling.

Start scrounging the junk yards. You will be surprised what you find. I sure have been.
