Just curious if anyone knew off hand what the original size rearend was in my 68 camaro 327/210 hp with 3 speed saginaw, and its a 10 bolt. Just wondering if it's an 8.2" or a 8.5". Thanks in advance for any information.

Should be an 8.125. Read the table key under the code chart.

Ok maybe a stupid question then, is a 8.125 considered a 8.2". My car is in storage for the winter and I cant get to it and I really wanted to order a Posi unit for it. But I dont want to order the wrong size. Its stored about 70 miles from my house for winter so its not really possible to look at the code on the rearend, until I pick it up around summer time

8.5s didnt come out til 1970 so 8.2 should be right unless its been changed out before 8.5s has 2 ears on the very bottom of the housing center section.
