Anybody have a pic(s) of the front of this intake - specifically in the thermostat area.. I have 2 studs coming outta the intake where the thermostat would bolt on and, I am not sure they are what came outta GM in '69?? Also, second part of the query is, what thermostat housing is correct numbers-wise, for this intake??
Thank You!!
Ted

When the #472 intake came on the 1969 302ci engine, were there not 2 different sized studs that were used to retain the 387660 thermostat housing, with the psgr side stud being used to catch the alternator bracket?? Just got my intake back and I am trying to remember if I had bought it that way or was Bubba hard at it??
Thanks!!

The 302 thermostat housing (660 aluminum) was attached by a bolt with a threaded stud extension on the passenger side where the upper alternator bracket was attached with a nut, and by a bolt on the driver's side.
