Title: DAYTONA YELLOW W/ PARCHMENT VINYL TOP
Post by: Jerry@CHP on November 04, 2009, 10:19:39 PM
I'm on the road in beautiful Palm Beach, FL.  Looking at an L48 SS.  Has anyone ever seen a Daytona Yellow w/ parchment vinyl top?  First one I've ever seen.  Real tag!  Any in the CRG data base?  On the road until the weekend.  Had to be a FL car when ordered new.

5 of them. Out of over 300 DY cars. So not real common.

We restored one probably about 10 years ago.  It was OP but the top had been stripped off.  Assumed it was a black top car until we found a little strip of white top vinyl inside the car while tearing it down.  Checked the tag, sure enough... 76 E.
