Title: 69 Z28 Grille Emblem
Post by: rockphil on July 13, 2009, 11:45:30 PM
Are there any stampings or casting numbers on the back of original or NOS Z28 Grille Emblems for 1969?

Here's the issue -

I have an original grille emblem and an NOS grille emblem.  Neither have any type of stamping on the back.

There's a guy on eBay who has a grille emblem listed as NOS that has the original part number stamped on the back. What's make me even more suspect is that he says it came to him in a GM box but the GM logo had been cut off.

Thoughts?

Be patient you will find what you want and not have any questions about the purchase. I am sure you are already doing this but surf, Team Camaro and The Super car site for parts. That is what I did and found good sellers.

Good luck

My (what I think was original) emblem did not have a part number. Seems like the originals were painted silver inside the "28" and some later GM replacements were painted white. Is this it?
