Is there a way to tell if you have an original owners manual or a reprint?
Thanks

On page one of the manual, at the very bottom of page it should say "reprinted with permission of General Motors Corporation" or "reproduced from original copy" if it is a legitimate reprint. An original manual will show a copyright date under Chevrolet Motor Division and an edition number with month and year printed under the address section (General Motors Corporation Detroit...) The part number should be to the right of the edition and date, 3955545 in my 69 manual.
I have a 04 build with a manual showing a 1968 copyright date and a third edition, April 1969 print next to the part number.
This site should help you spot a fake: http://reviews.ebay.com/SPOTTING-REPRINT-CHEVROLET-CAMARO-amp-CORVETTE-OWNER-MANUAL_W0QQugidZ10000000000931461
Hope this helps,
