Hello guys,i am planning to replace my exhaust system in my restored 67 ss/rs 396,
I see several for sale one has the resonators and the transverse muffler . the other one has no resonaters
both start at 2 1/4"and end at 2" tail pipes is this right ?
any brand better than the others ?

Hey Mike, I have a 68 z, I replaced my exhaust last year, Ibought it from Gardners Exhaust, They are in New York. They only make muscle car Exhaust! It comes correct with everything you need, and blue prints to install it! I love mine. They will tell you just what is correct , and needed for your car. Go on line check them Out

Not sure how correct you want to be, but I have the Flowmaster kit (transverse muffler). It sounds awesome! Nice low rumble without the crack that some Flowmasters have.

my gardner exhaust fel right into the car. it was the easiest and most correct exhaust i have ever done. great people to deal with. they know their stuff!

Which car got the resonatores, could they be ordered with any car ? thanks again Mike B
