Title: 67 Camaro questions
Post by: Jason on December 12, 2008, 01:19:36 PM
Hey i just bought a 67 camaro. I have owned a few and have never cared what they were because they were race cars. Now i own a respectable car and would like to find out a little info.
First thing is the back up lights are in the lower valance below the bumper. I have heard that means its an RS. is that true?

Thanks

Yes, the backup lights in the rear valance panel is one of the signs of an RS. If you'll click on the red "CRG" logo at the top right of the page, it'll take you to the CRG home page, and the boxes at the top of that page will take you to everything you ever wanted to know about 1st-generation Camaros.

Also check the option codes on the trim tag.
