Post by: Damon on November 13, 2008, 12:20:31 AM
Hello,

Can you help me decode this transmission.  I cannot find anything on the trans itself, only the pan and its been stamped a few times.

The pan reads :  Y9C07N

Hi Kurt,

Will get better pics, it was on the pass. side on the base of the angle of the bell housing just above where the torque converter cover fastens on.

Boy who ever stamped this trans back in the day did the case and pan twice.  Is that strange?

Also, this is a 250HP - 2 barrell car and it had a 3/8" fuel line.  Is that normal?

Thanks,

Damon

Thanks!
Realize the pan was stamped in the trans plant and the VIN was stamped in the LOS plant. So two different people stamped it. :)

Guys-

How about a 3/8" fuel line on a 350//250HP//2 barrel Camaro RS?

Damon

All V-8's had 3/8" fuel lines.
