Title: proper torque #'s
Post by: Flowjoe on August 03, 2008, 05:44:50 PM
What is the correct torque for the four  bolts that hold the aluminum cover on the PS gear box?  '69 Pontiac shop  manual says 30 ft/lbs, '69 Chevy shop manual doesn't specify.

thanks

The 1969 Chassis Overhaul Manual, page 9-23, calls for 30 ft-lbs. for the cover screws.
