I had ordered a new windshield for my 69. The glass guy said he thought it was the wrong one because at the upper corners, it took a sharp turn upwards. It would have fit but it would have been extremely tight in the corners. Just wanted to get input from others who have ordered from Pilkington glass. Is this the way yours was? If not is it possibly for a convertible?
Thanks
Dean

I think (I'll be corrected if I'm wrong) that the vert glass is acutually about an inch shorter than the coupe. Can't help with experience re new glass.

The convertible windshield is shorter. Not sure about the "sharp turn upwards" though.

There should be a DOT number on the glass. DOT XXXX. The decal that came on the glass Should have a part #(DW688) coupe (DW689) convert. DOT # will be where the logo is( bottom corner)

Now I understand why my Pilkington windshield was almost too short to urethane in. GRRRRRRRRR.
