Title: distributer number

i have a distributer number 1111494 that i can purchase,  the original owner of my z28 swears this is the distriduter that he took out of the car when he removed the motor, is this possible date 0A5,  he says he labled it with masking tape when he removed it in the early 70s.

No. That's a 1970 Full Size 400/265 distributor built on January 5th, 1970.
