Title: 1969 Camaro Water Pump
Post by: b4cmaro on May 30, 2007, 05:46:53 PM
Hey guys - I am in search of a water pump for my 'Plain Jane'.  Its a 327 / 2 barrel car, ps, pb, a/c and auto on the column. Only has 44,000 miles on it so I'd like to get the right one.  My problem is that I havent had any luck determing what the correct part number is.
Any help would be great - I'll be wandering around the Super Chevy show in Atlanta this weekend and hope to find one.
thanks
Tas

You can go rite to Chevy or a good parts store and get an AC Delco replacement for your car. If not, check ebay for correctly dated rebuilds. Maybe Jerry MacNeish has one for you?  Sam

If you have a Tonawanda built 327, then you can also use the 3927170 pump or the 692 pump. The 7170 pump will most likely be the cheaper and easier to find.
