Hi Camaro Experts -
I have a 1968 Camaro 327/210 standard black interior with no a/c with a production date of May 14, 1968. Unfortunately, it got dinged in Legends class for having a heater control assembly with a repro lens and a font that was too big. The assembly is aftermarket so I'm not surprised. I've checked the 1968 Camaro FAIM (UPC 1 M5 pg 55) and it appears the correct heater control assembly part number is GM 3925775. I've found two NOS heater control assemblies online. One says for 1967/1968 Camaro's with no a/c and the other only says it's for a 1967 Camaro's with no a/c. They both have the same GM part number 3925775. My question is whether there was any difference between the 1967 and 1968 heater control assemblies. Would the 1967 heater control assembly be correct for my 1968 Camaro? Just want to make sure before getting the part, which is kinda pricey. Many thanks. gwp4

I do know that the after market ones have print that is two for 1967 and I think 67 & 68 are the same from factory

Just looked up in 1968 gm parts book say's 3925775. So 67-68 should be the same. Hope this helps.

I've got 3885149 for 67.

Hi folks -
Many thanks for the info on the heater control assembly for a 1968 base model Camaro with no a/c. Also, appreciate that the part number appears to be GM 3925775 both both 67 and 68 Camaros. However, I'm wondering what 3925775C means? I've seen that mentioned. Also, did the heater control assembly for 67 Camaros have a greenish tint to the faceplate with the 68 more of a whiteish tint? Or maybe it was vice-versa? I do know from the Legends judging manual that the 67 heater control assemblies have smaller lettering than the 68 ones. Finally, anyone have any ideas on where I might find a correct control assembly for a 68 Camaro? Cheers, gwp4

Hi folks -
Further to my earlier posts, I'm also interested in finding out the GM part number for a heater control lens for a 1968 Camaro with no a/c. I hope I'll be able to track down an original one for the judges. Many thanks. gwp4

You can start here, searching on a couple key words, plus specifying make/model/year. You may also get a Group Number for heating system components, which can be useful in additional searches
