Do any of you have a recommendation or a source for a factory original looking spring perch for a multi leaf?
I was gifted a complete rear end that was abused in a race car 68 Camaro and had the original spring perches, half torn off.
Thanks,
John

I am not aware of any that are an exact match.
Any good welding shop should be able to fix what you have.

Thanks, that’s the good side. The other side is torn off and gone. Plan B I guess. (No plan B yet!)

Are these the same for all years?
These are nos but there are cheaper used ones on Ebay too.

Those are correct for 1970-81 but I am not sure if correct for 68-69.
-
GM parts wiki says the nos PN #3976852 fits 67-69.
Maybe wrong for later applications?

No I don’t think that is right. That’s the only page that shows that part number for 68-69. And it’s wrong for 67, that was mono leaf springs only.

Moser sells muti- leaf spring perches for early 67-69 Camaro's too. but maybe not technically correct.
Some guy in reviews used them for a 12 bolt from a 70 Chevelle into a 70 Camaro.
"This made swapping a 12 bolt chevelle axle into my '70 camaro super easy. The leaf spring bushings I had wouldn't work you need the ones without the hump on the top."

Thank you all for the links and the information. From what I understand, the second GEN spring perches do not have the offset in them that the early ones deal, and just from looking at the photos of new old stock, the bolt holes look slightly different. I will order a set of reproductions from D&R and using the original as a sample see if I can tune the reproductions up to look more original. I have the fixture to true housings and all the associated work so that’s no problem. Thanks again.
