I KNOW THE REAREND HOUSINGS WHERE CAST BUY EATON BUT WHERE THEY ASSEMBLED THERE OR WAS THAT DONE AT THE GM FACTORY

Arrived at assembly plant as painted finished assembly.

Another reminder, brake cables were part of rear end assembly.

That is incorrect. The housings were cast by GM.
Eaton only supplied the posi - and only 25% of the Camaros got it.

SO THE HOUSINGS WHERE CAST  BY A GM FOUNDRY AND EATON SUPPLYED THE INTERNALS AND GM BUILT THE UNITS IN HOUSE

Eaton only supplied the Posi units and must cars did not get a Posi.
