Title: ESC Automotive Concepts date coded glass
Post by: Rick68 on September 12, 2023, 04:37:50 PM
Has anyone purchased glass from this company? They say they offer the correct logos and print styles but also do the Astro Ventilation script in white ceramic like original.

I bought a windshield for my 69. Off shore & thinner. What would you like to know?....Joe

Are you overall happy with the windshield? Besides the thickness are the logos and scripts close to original? What caught my eye was the white ceramic Astro Ventilation script. I had purchased some glass for my car and I was not impressed with the script and logo. And they etched the Astro ventilation which was barely noticeable. Thickness of glass was OK

I provided them with what I needed for etching & it's looks very good. The glass needed to be set differently because of the thickness. The glass isn't wavey like some I've seen. Overall, I'm happy with it but decided to leave the rest of my glass alone. I lost a few points at MCACN because of my original glass....Joe

Thanks in advance

You can't use the butyl. He had to use what they use on glass for newer cars so he could build it up so the height is correct & the moldings look correct. I don't know the name of the product. It came in a large caulking tube....Joe
