VIN was final assembled on or about October 16, 1968. Car has an 04C X77 body tag; 3rd week of April, 1969.
One or both tags are not original to the car, hidden VINs may not match.

Ugh-another disaster. Thanks, William, for doing what you do.

It's back.
VIN was final assembled on or about October 16, 1968. Body tag is 04C, third week April 1969. Has a re-stamped June 18 DZ block, 010 casting. Despite not existing in 1968, stamped with the reported VIN.
Has a 1968 model year rear axle, U-bolts retaining the driveshaft trunnions.

Thank you William. Being the gatekeeper is a thankless job. But thank you!

Ironically, its for sale at the site of the Camaro Nationals... anyone see it?

At least they made it easy listing the VIN and the trim tag date in the ad. Seems like a large operation like that would red flag something that shows one of the tags does not go with the car.

I did see it. It was in the center display area right behind the girl taking names at the entrance.
I’ve probably got some photos of it on my go pro.
