Did all the 69 RS camaros have the front turnsignal lens trim? i have an early 11d LA built car that doesnt have the trim. Its very original but someone could have replaced the lens. Thoughts ? thanks

Only early RS cars had the trim rings. What the cut off was? I do not know.

My LA built 10B RS Z/28 had the original Trim on it when I got it.

Here are some Factory Take offs.

nice. what is the date of the car those came off of?

Swap meet Cores.
Date unknown

As of the 12-68 rev of the dealer order form, bright trim was no longer listed as part of Rally-Sport equipment.
Existing inventory was randomly consumed in production into early 1969. John Zs March-built Z/28 had the trimmed lenses.

I know little modifications were made to JohnZ's car with the emblems and all, I wonder if those were changed. March would by far be the latest I have seen. Most of the original December January cars I have seen don't seem to have them. But again they could have been swapped for some reason.

John's car was 02D, btw. Shipped 2/28.

My 10B 68 RS/Z does not have them. I figured there were removed before I bought the car.
-

My 12B Nor does not

Good reference point!
