Title: 1969 Z/28 Original Carb bracket
Post by: BULLITT65 on February 10, 2023, 05:58:34 PM
I have seen this PCV bracket ( on the left in the pic by the choke) on a couple of 69Z cars, and I have not been able to find evidence of them being a factory item, but I thought I would throw it out there just to get consensus from others in the know. I do see a similar bracket offered on the L78 in the AIM, but not the 69Z
thanks

exactly, I am just making sure it wasn't a mid year add on or something.

That bracket was used on the 1967-1969 Camaro L78 and on the 1968-1969 Corvette L88, P/N 3846117 (see number 4 below). It may have been used on other models and years as well.

Yep that is the pic I saw as well. Thank you for the additional input. I haven't seen any original Z cars with it. Just double checking. Thank you guys

Big Blocks ONLY!

Correct, but there's a little more to that. For the 67-69 Camaro it was indeed used on big blocks, but only Holley equipped big blocks.
