good morning gentlemen.. can someone show proper inner drivers decal placement like tire pressure and the blue GM foil decal and any other decals that maybe factory for a 1969
-
The blue foil GM label was not used in 1969.
Tire pressure label affixed to the left door above the latch screws, no dimensions noted.
The FMVSS VIN label entered production as of September 1, 1969, roughly VIN N678254.

To add to what William said, here's some pictures. If you have the double ribbed door, it has to be above the ribs like the yellow door....Joe

ECS auto makes an EXACT copy of the original tire pressure sticker. I never thought there was a difference until I saw it for myself.

thank you gentleman your knowledge is insane......... people on this site are very nice

Here's how I located mine - late September car. I used the ECS VIN sticker
-
Never seen a white background on an original VIN label.
Per John Z, the original labels self-adhered but quickly fell off so the clear mylar overlay was added.

What is the story of the double ribbed door? Thinking that’s the name of my new band.
-
They came out June...ish, somebody can clearify, in anticpation of the Federal sticker of Sept 1st 1969....Joe
-
White background - I took this pic when I just had both labels stuck to the door with masking tape to make it easier to compare to photos I had taken of some survivor cars with labels intact. The label backing had not yet been removed.

Thanks for the clarification!
