Correct pinstripe for 67 SS convertible ? or did it even come with one ?
-
The side pinstripe running down the belt line on a 67 was part of UPC Z21 Exterior Style Trim Group, which was also included with the UPC Z22 Rally Sport package. It's detailed in the AIM.

That covers the bumble bee stripe. What about the side hand pin stripping from front fender-door-rear quarter panel.

Yes, It is a bit hidden, Look under:
Optional Stripes
1967
Starting in April 67 and continuing through the end of the model year, the D91 stripe (aka front accent band) was available for non-SS, non-Z28 cars. Cars with the Rally Sport (RS) option had a gap in the D91 stripe (like the SS cars) for the RS emblems. On non-SS and non-RS cars, there was no gap in the stripe. Pinstriping was not available as an RPO, but was included with Style Trim or Rally Sport.

The pinstripe is on pg Z21/A1 (p415) of the 1967 AIM & includes dimensions & placement. In practice, the placement was a bit inexact since it was a manual process (discussed in J Hinckley's manufacturing article).
Note the dimensions (.06" top, .12" gap, and .10" bottom) are in decimal inches to the 1/100. Converting these to fractional figures (& allowing for rounding) works out to 1/16" top; 1/8" gap, and 3/32" bottom (+/- 0.01").
Stencils & Stripes used to have a Tape Stripe Stencil kit (#F-6) that matched these dimensions. Unfortunately today I cannot find it on their website. I bought mine in 2012 and the resulting application was (IMHO) right-on.

Addendum: Now challenged; I kept looking and found eventually this (link)... I think it's the same thing (at least the product# F-6 is the same): https://finessepinstriping.com/product/the-striper-f-6/
Photo mashup shows a 2012 spray-up sample, overlaid with the sizing illustration from the current product site, along with the AIM graphic.
[Add'l note: after researching & posting all this info., I noticed the original question was in "Originality"... please excuse the faux pas if I am in the wrong forum!]

A late follow-up on this, if it helps anyone. I found out that Stencils & Stripes does still offer the F-6 pinstripe stencil tape, but it's not on their website. I didn't get a price. I was extremely pleased with the results we got from these. Their contact info. can be found at https://www.stencilsandstripes.com/contact/

I have a 67 RS/SS convertible with mostly original paint and the car seems to not have the side pinstripe. Did ALL RS/SS cars get the side pinstripe as well as the accent band at the front?
