Does anyone know of a good glass company-supplier for correct glass for 67-69 Camaro? Paul's Auto glass is now retired and some of the other stuff is from China. Trying to find a good supplier for a customer and a car I am trying to finish.
Thanks,
Jerry

Is it any good? I know the Pelkington we installed in my '67 Z28 was junk. Side windows not curved correctly. Someone has to making quality glass.

W/s looks ok. Thinner. Had to be set differently or else the moldings weren't right. It was about 500 clams for a dated glass...Joe

Auto city glass, and they will date code all of your glass, if needed. just got mine back, (date coded), cost me $789.00 for 5 peices. my car is a convertible.

Are you happy with the quality of the glass? Fit, etc.

Jerry - I scoured the web for good quality glass sources as well. All I could find was Auto City Glass as it appears most all of the vendors get their glass from Auto City. I should be getting my date-coded glass back in the next few weeks. They have two variants. I asked for the "show quality". They claim the quality is OE....we'll see. I'll update here when I get glass back (I only need front and rear, but ordered everything. Came to $1100 or so with shipping. Hans

Jerry,
Bruce Eilenberger ordered the set for his L78 pacer from Camaro Specialties IIRC. I know it was foreign made Glass as I removed the stickers, however -prior to wasting tons of time fighting ill formed Glass -- I laid the pieces nested on the originals spaced with thin cork dots to check the profiles and curvatures they matched nicely.

quality looks good, but I'm far from fitment. Just trying to get ahead start on major parts I don't have.

My Auto City Glass arrived today. The quality looks really good. The tinting matches my originals and the date coding appears very accurate - they matched the spec I sent them and to the originals, including all the details.
Appears they use PMK Diamond Glass (Thailand) for the side glass and Xinyi Automobile Parts (Tianjun) Co LTD for the windscreen.
I can't vouch for the backlight or windscreen glass thickness as mine were broken/thrown-out/not original, but the side glass appears to match the original thickness. 1/4 glass ~ 3/16" and door glass ~ 1/4".
No apparent waviness noted on the windscreen glass.
I'll post images when I get a chance of the date codes and glass in general.

PMK Diamond is the brand I received as well.

This might be out-dated information, when I put my 67 back together in the spring of 2012, I was sent to PS Auto Glass in Janesville, WI.. I am very happy with their work and the dated windshield I got. The date codes and other markings were right on.
