Here's a photo of a Camaro at the 1972 G.M. test day at Zandvoort race track in Holland.

Ed Swart, a regular at our monthly Palos Verdes Cars & Coffee, took second in class driving a 1967 SS Camaro in a support race before the 1967 Formula 1 race at Zandvoort.  As Ed was a driver for Fiat-Abarth, he was politely asked to just race Fiat-based cars and not those manufactured by General Motors.
