Looking for pictures of the cowl area on an O2B LOS '68 Z/28. Need shots of an original car if possible showing the area paint in wiper trans area and overspray at the firewall edge etc. And top of cowl & Hood stripe detail. I know some things are different on an Van Nuys car. Thanx... Danny

Is yours white striped or black. Mine is 02E black & I have picture from another 02E car with white stripes. Both LA & both finished 3/13/1968...Joe

Joe,
This is a British RG car with white stripes. I would appreciate any pictures you can provide. I can PM you my email? ... Danny
-
You can do that or I can post it here. I will say the car has never been apart so it will only show how it should be when completed...Joe

OK,
Post away please. ... Danny

It's not the greatest picture. I had to have Sheri take a picture of the picture on her cell phone...Joe

Do you have any pic's looking down with the cowl panel off? ... Danny

Cowl panel has never been off the car...sorry....Joe

Danny - My friend's 1968 Z28 was BRG and I remember that you could see white over spray in the wiper area. I believe the Z28 was built at Van Nuys as it came from Harry Mann Chevrolet in Los Angeles, but we never took notice of the trim tag. - Mark

Joe,
Just pop the wipers, nut driver the small bolts and pull it? I have done it about 8 times now on several cars, less than 5 minutes. ;)
SOMEBODY has to have some pictures like my example. Danny

It's not my car. I'm in Tucson & he's near Flint. The car is in storage until they can find another home. Sorry. I thought my posting might be a little helpful although I was thinking you wanted to see farther....Joe

Copy that, appreciate the effort. But yes, I need shots like my examples. ... Danny

Lots of examples here - http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=14029.0
Though there definitely is a trend by plant, it also varied by who was painting.....
